I have formed this community of amazing women who happen to be Single Mothers primarily, but not exclusively, from Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Medford and Malden. This group is also open to non-single parents who appreciate & support our situation (relatives, mentors, teachers, adult children of single moms, babysitters, etc.). This meetup is unique from most because it is a chance for families to not only get together at least once a month, but to really be a supportive resource to single …

Hello, I am the proud mother of a 4 year old boy who believes he is a girl. I understand this may be a permanent desire of his - it certainly does not appear to be a phase. He is having trouble adjusting at school as other children find his behavior odd. I am looking to start a group for similarly situated families who want an accepting social outlet for their children as well as personal support for themselves. 2012 update - We are currently a group of a few moms/families trying to support our …

Do you know a child with allergies, anxiety, stomachaches, a picky eater, ASD, ADHD, PDD-NOS, quirky etc. It can be challenging to teach children about healthy eating -- especially if the child is very picky and/or resistant to new foods. If you are a parent, a service provider, a grandparent, or a person living with special needs y …

Real mom's who shop at Target, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, look for sales for their kiddos (and themselves), and who are "real" down-to-earth ladies. We want moms who are fun, a little sassy, outgoing and looking to build life long friendships. This group is focused on moms who work from home or away from home, are married or single mamas, and are unable to attend the typical daytime mommy meet ups that seem to be common around this area. We understand busy schedules and the work load of a working mom …

This is a group for learning more about treating disease and illness - no matter how severe or minor - with food and nutrition. My life has been improved incredibly by making nutritional changes to my diet. As I've learned more and more about nutrition and disease, I've discovered not only how much more there is to learn for me, but also I really wanted to share what I've learned already, and encourage this discussion to happen on a wider basis. And also of course, there are so many resources an …

Hi all, If you found this group that means you are living with a condition that basically makes it seem like people are allergic to you. People around you display allergy symptoms and there's nothing you can do to prevent them from sneezing, coughing, rubbing their eyes and skin. We all feel horrible about ourselves because we are good people who don't wish harm on anyone but are stuck playing this role in society. I suggest we meet to lift some of our burden and gain strength from numbers.
